Can I make amendments to my booking?
After their confirmation has been issued, any requests for changes must be sent to them in writing by email to reservations@affordablecarhire.com or post by the person who made the booking. They will do their best to try to arrange your requested changes with the supplier; however, Affordable Car Hire cannot guarantee that they will be able to make the changes requested as they will be applicable at the time of change. Affordable Car Hire don’t charge amendment fees outside of 72 hours before collection, after this time the booking will be classed as a cancellation and rebook. Please note some suppliers do not allow amendments and ask you to cancel and rebook, if this is the case they will advise you and the new advertised price will be applicable but they will try and assist where they can.
What if I cancle my booking?
If you want to cancel your booking at any time before the car hire commencement date, the person that made the booking must send an email to cancellations@affordablecarhire.com quoting your booking reference. Your cancellation will take effect from the date they receive your communication between the hours of 9.00 am and 6 pm. Affordable Car Hire allow free cancellations up until 48 hours before the rental commences, after this time if you cancel it will be at a cost of 100%. This excludes USA/Canada collections who they allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before collection. Cancellations are ONLY accepted when received in writing from the lead driver or your travel agent by Affordable Car Hire.
What if Affordable Car Hire changes or cancel my booking?
We reserve the right to change or cancel your booking.
If they make a change to your booking, other than as a result of circumstances beyond their control (as defined below), and you don’t want to accept it, you can take any alternative car rental they are able to offer you (in which case you will pay the increase in cost if the replacement is advertised at a higher price than your original booking, or receive a refund of the difference if it is less expensive) or you can take a refund of the money you’ve paid to them. This does not apply where the change is not material.
