Should I buy a monocular or binocular microscope?
Monocular microscopes are best suited to younger children whose eyes are not far enough apart to be able to comfortably look through binocular options. They are also a cheaper option than binocular microscopes.
What if I receive my damaged item?
If your item is damaged during shipping, please report these damages to the shipping company responsible and request a damage claim number and forward it to them. Please also take pictures of the damages and email them to them. Amscope will have the shipping company pick up the damaged package(s). Upon receipt of the claim number from you or the shipping company, they will ship your replacement items.
What if my item is missing from my order?
You must notify them within 30 days of receipt if there is a problem with your order, so contact them right away if anything is missing from your order. For microscope/camera combos, their shipping department will sometimes utilize the outer portions of the Styrofoam (see below). Before reporting a missing item, please thoroughly check all of the packaging materials as well as checking to see if more than one box was shipped for your order. If two or more boxes shipped, they may arrive at different times. Check with the courier’s website to confirm how many boxes were shipped.
What if I receive a wrong or faulty item?
If you receive the wrong item(s), please take a picture of the received item(s) and email it to them. Upon confirmation of the wrong item(s) being shipped, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you for the return. Once the wrong item(s) is returned, they will immediately ship you the correct item. You must notify them within 30 days of receipt if there is a problem with your order, so contact them right away if you did not receive the correct items with your order, or if anything is missing from your order.
