How are California Shutters and B&Q linked?
B&Q selected California Shutters as a working partner to supply custom made shutters to B&Q customers via their website partnership. California Shutters has been through a number of in-depth processes to become an approved vendor of B&Q, read more about their B&Q partnership. However, all interactions when buying shutters are direct with California Shutters and not with B&Q Limited.
How long will my order take?
They will dispatch Your Shutters as soon as the goods are ready. For their current lead times, please refer to their delivery page, all quoted lead times are always estimated only and time is not of the essence. Please check this for any updates and exceptions.
The lead times start once you have confirmed your order.
How much will the delivery cost me?
All shutters orders come with a cost between £15.00 - £50.00 delivery dependent on order size, provided the address is in the mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands & Highlands. For the Channel Islands, the cost is £50 - £100, again dependent on the size of your order. Overseas orders will incur an additional charge and their team can give you an indication of this cost prior to placing an order.
What arrives with my order?
Everything you need will be supplied with your order. Shutter panels, your custom-built frame and all the hardware required for your installation. Check out their installation guides for shutters to see how the process works. You will need a spirit level, drill, and good quality steel measure tape in order to measure and install their shutters.
What is the guarantee period?
Their shutters come with a 36-month guarantee.
What happens if my shutters are wrong, don’t fit or arrive damaged?
They do everything in their power to ensure that the shutters you receive will arrive in perfect condition and that you will have a hassle-free installation. In the event of transit damage or if there is a quality issue from manufacturing, they are delighted to offer a “no quibble” free replacement. Remember, they provide comprehensive measuring guides on their site and they call you to check the order detail is 100% correct before we begin. Unfortunately, there is always the possibility that you (the customer) will read the measuring tape incorrectly, and on this occasion, you must take the responsibility. Thankfully this is rare and as always they are happy to work with you to find a possible solution or assist with a remake order. View their measuring guides.
