What’s it made out of, and how secure are the two materials?
The hard plastic is a custom polypropylene plastic, and the “rubber” is actually a special FDA food-safe elastomer that’s specially designed to resist staining, scratching, and tearing. During the molding process, the two materials bond together at a molecular level for an incredibly strong bond. It’s similar to the construction of a fancy rubber-grip toothbrush.

Where is it made?
Morsel is 100% Made in the USA! Morsel Sporks are manufactured in California, and their packaging is manufactured in Oregon.
How tough is it?
Morsel is pretty darn tough, but it’s still plastic. They made Morsel thicker and stronger than other camping utensils because they were sick of breaking handles, but it’s still not invincible. If you’re literally trying to break Morsel, you’ll probably succeed. If you’re using it as a utensil, it should last for many, many years.
What if I’m a lefty?
Have no fear! The morsel was designed to scrape in both directions, clockwise and counter-clockwise, so it actually works pretty well with your left hand! They actually debated, as right-handers, which direction the spoon should point - because it works so well both ways!
