For products (excluding upholstered and furniture products, clearance and sale products, products sold as seconds, floor stock, repaired products, or products that have a defect where this has been drawn to the customer’s attention before the purchase of the product) collected and paid for at the time of purchase in store, in addition to the rights granted by applicable statute (including the Australian Consumer Law), if you change your mind you may return the product within 7 days of the date of delivery provided that the product is returned in its original condition, is in its original unopened and sealed packaging, and is accompanied by proof of purchase (the sales receipt or another acceptable form of proof of purchase).

Except as set out above, Sleeping Giant shall not accept a cancellation for change of mind by a customer, unless Sleeping Giant chooses to do so at its absolute discretion.

If Sleeping Giant does accept such cancellation, the customer will forfeit 20% of the purchase price Sleeping Giant to reflect any loss that Sleeping Giant will suffer as consequence of the cancellation. Sleeping Giant shall set off this amount against any moneys already paid to them by the customer for this product and refund the balance. Collection fee will also be charged if required.

Their goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

They request that all customers check their purchases within 48 hours from purchase. Any damages to your items must be reported to your store of purchase immediately whereupon a warranty claim will be made. The customer remains responsible for returning the items to their warehouse where it will be inspected.

If in their reasonable opinion, the product has damage due to reasonable wear and tear, misuse, incorrect assembly or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, they will not issue a refund or claim.

They understand that sometimes when buying furniture, things can go wrong. That gorgeous bed that looks so fabulous in their showroom, won’t fit up your stairs or you’ve overestimated the length of that couch.

They will offer customers a 7-day store credit to exchange any items that you purchase and need to swap.

In this instance, they will provide a store credit for the purchase price of the item less any return costs (such as delivery and collection fees incurred by us).

All items returned in this manner need to be in their original packaging and not assembled or part assembled in any form.

They do reserve the right to refuse a returned item if it is found to be damaged or not able to be returned to their showroom sale stock.

You agree that you will not return any products without approval from Customer Service or the store of purchase.

No credit shall be given unless the products have been verified as being defective or otherwise valid for repair by Sleeping Giant.

If a refund is approved, Head Office will process the refund which will be paid via direct deposit to your nominated bank account or credited back to your Credit Card or Finance credit account.
