How long will it take until I see my order?
If you’re ordering a bike or a frameset, Competitive Cyclist strive to ship it within 2-5 business days after you’ve placed the order. Depending on the season, it takes a bit longer, sometimes it takes a bit less. They will always ensure and stand behind their quality, so in some instances this could mean an extra day or two for the build. Competitive Cyclist can give you a rather reliable estimate when you place your order.
If you’re ordering components, clothing, or accessories, Competitive Cyclist will ship your order the same day you place it provided the items are in stock. If delivery of your order is time-sensitive, please let them know in the “Comments” section of your order so they can do their best to live up to your expectations and coordinate with you in case there is a problem.
What is your return policy?
Competitive Cyclist guarantee your total satisfaction and offer a world-class returns policy. New, unused gear can be returned at any time for a full refund. Used gear must be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit.
1. New, unused gear must be returned in the condition you received it and with the original box and/or packaging, including manufacturer tags where applicable.
2. Used gear, bikes, or bike frames not damaged due to abuse will be issued store credit in the form of credits applied to your Competitive Cyclist account. Competitive Cyclist will not accept the return of products damaged due to negligence or abuse.
Please take the time to carefully package your returns. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay costs related to the repair of returned items damaged in shipping due to improper packaging. If you feel that your gear is eligible for a warranty evaluation by the manufacturer due to defect in its materials or workmanship, contact their Warranty Department.
Can I backorder a frame or item that isn’t in stock?
Backordering an item is no different from placing an order for an in-stock item. Simply call in your order or place it on-line. At the time of order placement Competitive Cyclist will authorize your credit card for the purchase, but they will not capture funds. Competitive Cyclist capture funds ONLY when your item, including frames and bikes, is ready to ship to you.
