What payment methods do you accept?
Dashlane accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal.
What can I do if Dashlane redirects to the wrong page or gets stuck when logging me in?
Depending on how the website is designed, Dashlane may not be able to detect the necessary fields to successfully log you in automatically or may redirect you to the wrong part of a website.
If this happens, first open the credential details and check that the website URL is correct. Copy and paste the exact URL address of the login page into the “Website” field. Click OK to save the change, then open the website again.
If the automatic login still does not work as expected, or if Dashlane still tries to log you in when you do not want to, you’ll want to disable the option “Always log me into the website” for this credential. Try again if the website updates its interface, and failing using the auto-login, you can still go on using Dashlane’s autofill capability.
Dashlane logs out all the time, can I change that?
The web app may be logging you out when you close your browser or the desktop app may be logging you out if you don’t use it for a while.
You can fix this in the web app by ticking a box during login, and in the desktop apps, you can disable the Automatic logout option under Preferences. Please note that if you decide to do this, you should be careful to log out each time you leave your computer.
What is Dashlane’s support for Intel® SGX?
In 2017, Dashlane launched support for Intel® Software Guard Extensions (SGX) – a powerful new security technology built into all 7th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, making it possible to protect your passwords with hardware-enhanced security — something that’s never been possible on PCs before.
What to do if I get a “Please check your Internet connection” message?
Note: For the best Dashlane experience on a computer, you no longer need to install both an app and an extension. All you need is a web browser on your computer (Linux machines and Chromebooks included), and in just a few clicks you can check out our powerful web app!
In Dashlane, if you see the message “Please check your Internet connection,” this usually means Dashlane is having difficulty connecting to our servers. Most often this occurs if there is something about the network you’re using—either at work or at home—that limits Dashlane’s ability to connect.
